The first idea that Galeri Loker can recommend with all my heart is print-on-demand.
The concept behind the business model is that anyone can set up a virtual shop or a market place where they can sell products like t-shirts, mugs, socks etc. without the need of any startup capital.
There are websites out there with over 300 products listed which can be customized and designed as per your creative abilities. Here’s how it works.
So, when a customer places an order for let’s say a shirt, on your website, this factory or the supplier will start to make that shirt.
They’ll print it on demand as the name suggests, and then they will ship it out for you.
So literally there’s nothing you need to do on your side besides customer service, in order for that shirt to be printed and shipped out for you.
The best thing about this business model is that you actually don’t need to manage the inventory which means you don’t have to actually place an order ahead of time.
This reduces a lot of risk for you. With no inventory and almost no initial investment, starting a print-on-demand business is easy.
If you can use the designs creatively, then print on demand is one of the best and easiest ways to get into e-commerce without committing to a massive financial investment.
In case you want to start your own personal brand of some sort, this can also be used as a way to test an idea before committing to it completely.
There are websites like Printify that allow you to use this business model.
I will link them in the description below so that you can check them out if you are interested in starting your own print-on-demand model.
I think the only thing that requires a time commitment from you is the marketing of your products. Let’s say you made an out of the world product design but people will not buy it until they know the design is out there.
So marketing your products correctly is probably the only area where you will need to put extra efforts.
I would recommend social media for marketing your products.
You can join facebook groups to market your products, obviously without actually spamming the feed.
You can also use Instagram and tik-tok influencers to bring traction to the products.
Hi guys, I am Armaghan and today we are discussing the 4 ways to make money online with zero investment.
With the pandemic affecting millions financially, more and more people are looking for opportunities to get financially independent.
But as a recap, the first stage of becoming financially independent is to increase your income streams by starting new businesses or increasing your work hours.
Obviously increasing your work hours has a limited upside potential as you cant work more than 24hours a day without factoring in that you have to rest and shower and eat and cater to all other human needs.
So supplementing your income with a side business is the best idea.
However, there is a misconception that we need heavy investments to start any worthwhile business. In this article, I am going over my top four business ideas that can be started with almost no capital and can be scaled to a six or seven digit businesses if a person can consistently work on the ideas.
Just remember that if you are not investing money, the next best thing that you can invest, is your time.
So trading your time for a business that can potentially support the rest of your life is not a bad trade. The pandemic has taught us that business can be run from home.
All we need is a computer, an internet connection and a whole lot of dedication.
Here is my recommendation number 2 – A niche content blog.
I know, it seems like the idea of having a blog is so 2010 but give me a couple of minutes and I will explain why I am including it in this article. First and foremost, starting a blog is almost free.
Obviously you can spend a few Dollars and buy your own hosting and create a blog with a very specific name etc.
But it is not necessary. There are websites like Medium that have thousands of readers, looking for good content on daily basis.
You can start with Medium and start earning from day one potentially.
The profile on your screen is mine where I write articles on things that interest me.
There are so many things that you can write on, for example, if you are fond books, you can write book reviews or summaries, you can write on technology products, you can write personal finance. Basically, anything that you want.
The more interest or passion you have about a category, the easier it will be for you to find and make content about it.
You might be wondering, how a blog generates revenue.
So if the blog is on a website like Medium, every time a paid reader reads your article, you get paid a small amount so more readers mean more money.
If you have your personal blog, then the traffic generated by your website can be the source of advertising revenue.
Then the blogs can feature different products that can help you in getting revenue through affiliate marketing – which is basically a small percentage of the price of the product.
Obviously, you cant just expect to drive traffics with a first dozen of articles.
The frequency of the blogs and the quality of the content will help you get ranked in google search results which can then drive considerable traffic and obviously the associated ad revenues.
But as in all businesses, you will need to put in consistent efforts for this to work.
I am using Ghost as my blogging platform as it has pre-made customizations and can be a really easy solution for beginners.
Then there are websites like WIX which can basically do the same thing. I will provide links to these in the description so that you can check them out.
So the next idea on my list is personal branding.
This is a business that attracts more business.
You need to understand the concept of personal branding. It cannot make you money directly.
But it will give rise to many opportunities that can help you with the process.
I will explain what it is.
Here, on your screen is the Instagram account of my sister. She has over 16,000 followers and she posts every two days or so.
What you can see in her account is that she has used the account to cover her daily life while making use of the strategy of personal branding.
As of now, she has multiple brand deals that range from free products to review to sponsor deals that can pay good money.
For you, depending on what platform attracts you, or what your specific skills or talents are, you can use these social media platforms to your advantage.
You can have an account on YouTube, Tik Tok, Instagram, Twitter or any other platform that is popular.
You can build your influence by building reputation around the ideas that you believe in and the value that you can bring to the life of others.
You can inspire thousands and at the same time become financially independent by doing so.
I think personal branding is a really under-rated business opportunity.
For example, if you work on your personal branding and become a brand, this will help you succeed in any business that you start in the future because of the influence that you already have in your community.
Obviously, it does require a lot of time and effort but it can become a huge competitive advantage in the long run.
Also, if you can just go like this article, this article will reach a lot more and I will be able to help them too.
Another area where I think lies a huge potential with almost zero investment is to become a Freelancer with platforms like Fiverr.
I have done that with success in 2016. However, for this article, I want to niche it down for you.
I am recommending you to become Virtual Assistant.
With websites like Fiverr and Upwork, this category open for you no matter where you are.
By becoming a virtual assistant, you get the opportunity to learn almost everything about the Company along with development of your own skills.
There are tons of jobs available.
The work that you will need to do can range from setting up meetings to data entry tasks on Excel or to transcribe the meeting minutes from an audio recording.
Basically the work can be anything that can help the business owner or whoever has employed you to get more free time for business expansion etc.
By becoming a virtual assistant, you will get to grips with almost everything that a business is doing and how it operates.
It can be a great starting point if you want to start a business revolving around the same ideas.
Just remember to do your research before you select a company as the daily tasks can become mundane and you have the risk of getting bored of the work you are doing.
You wont be making a lot of money by becoming a Virtual Assistant but remember you would be doing this for the experience.
It is in fact the easiest way to learn a lot about the industry while making money off of it.
So guys, my final thoughts about this. If you are working towards your goal of becoming financially independent, you have to start earning some side income.
The side businesses don’t need extensive investment.
There are tons of other business ideas that can be started with zero investment and I will continue to cover them in the future article.
Just remember, the four ideas discussed in the article are mostly scalable and can become seven figure businesses if you can stay consistent for a year or so.
